Copenhagen and Beyond – Extraordinary everyday

Every project by the Danish architecture firm Cobe is built for life – for people and communities. Cobe’s architecture combines exceptional design with sustainable urban development to create spaces that work from day one and stand the test of time. The aim is to design a built environment that flexibly adapts to new uses and creates lasting value for all.

Caroline Nagel, project director and part of the management team at Cobe, will present pioneering projects from Copenhagen as well as international references in her lecture. These include the transformation of Nordhavn, the award-winning Silo building and Karen Blixens Square in Copenhagen, as well as the Adidas HALFTIME building in Herzogenaurach and Sugar Valley in Munich.

With a long-standing experience in architecture, urban planning and open space design, Caroline Nagel is currently leading the development project “Quartier am Humboldthain” in Berlin. She will provide insights into Cobe’s way of working and show how radical, future-proof solutions can make our cities more liveable.

Caroline Nagel is one of five project directors and part of the management team at COBE. She has many years of experience with architecture, urban planning and landscape projects in Denmark and Germany, and has managed several award-winning projects at COBE, including the Adidas HALFTIME building, the silo and Karen Blixen Square in Copenhagen. Caroline has also been project director and project manager of several urban development and open space projects, e.g. Israel Platz, Nørreport Station and Karen Blixen Square in Copenhagen. She is currently working in Berlin on the Quartier am Humboldtain, an urban development project in the center of Berlin, from the competition to the framework planning and test planning of individual construction sites. Caroline has experience as a project director at COBE in all phases of service.
